Florida Highway Patrol

It is the duty of the CIB to investigate all serial crimes or crimes outside of the function of everyday patrol duties.

CIB shall coordinate with other law enforcement agencies in order to investigate crimes that have been passed up to them. 

 When the patrol division receives a long-term case outside of their scope of duties, they will forward that case through writing to CIB
